Responsibilities:
- To assist the lead website developer in creation of website graphics and photo editing.
- Will also be expected to undertake various other web related tasks as directed.
- Primary responsibility will be to create graphics for websites, including logos, banners, advertisements, preparation of customer’s digital photos and graphics for use in flash presentations.
- Must be flexible and capable and is willing to do what it takes to get the job done.
- Must also possess a high level of attention to presentation and detail.
Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least a bachelor degree in digital graphic design / web graphic design
- Required language(s): English
- Advanced skills in Photoshop, Illustrator and the Adobe CS suite.
- High level ability to create web graphics of all kinds.
- High ability in creating stunning flash banners and advertisements
- Proven experience with Graphic Design for the web (2 to 3 years + Experience).
- Excellent grasp of graphic design principles including visual hierarchy, typography, space and color.
- A good knowledge of the difference between graphics for web and print, including image compression, image size and colour space differences.
- Must be flexible and willing to learn new software and perform a large variety of tasks as instructed.
- A high level of proficiency in the use of computers and a strong interest in maintaining these skills.
- Accurately able to quote the time required to complete tasks
- A willingness to undertake assigned work that is not always graphic design work, such as search engine optimisation and web research as directed.
- Willingness to accept continual feedback on their work and adapt designs as instructed, sometimes with several repetitions.
